Corporate Stories

Mountain Climbers was founded in 2005 in Melbourne Australia as a group of predominantly Kenyan women who come together to intercede for families. By God’s grace, Mountain Climbers women have prayed for the last 17 years for our families, communities, and nation. We are women of faith who believe in the power of God to change people, situations, and circumstances as we pray. Our overall purpose as a group is to create safe places for women to pray, and for ministry for themselves and their families.

Corporately, we are diverse in skills, personality, and experience. We are particularly enriched by our range of professional experience including:

We have actively engaged in Australian affairs including one of us having served as the outgoing Vice Chair of the Advisory Group on Australia-Africa Relations tasked by the Australian government with informing Australia’s engagement and policies on sub-Saharan Africa.

Whilst being diverse in our professional skills, knowledge, and expertise, each of us brings unique qualities which enrich our value add. Cumulatively, our experiences span over decades and cut across continents. We are united by a deep desire to see these skills, experiences. knowledge and attitudes become instruments of change in people’s lives particularly women and children who are often marginalised. Ultimately, we are propelled to act as mothers and daughters by our love for Christ and His heart for humanity.
