Ann’s foundational identity is a follower of Jesus Christ, committed to living out her Christian values with boldness and humility through the power of the Holy Spirit. Compelled by Micah 6:8 principles, her personal, spiritual, and professional lives intertwine to yield an inherent desire to be a servant-leader who witnesses Jesus Christ to people through deed, word and life-purpose that encourages others to respond to the gospel.
Professionally, Ann is a passionate educator and international development practitioner with over 25 years’ experience in the education industry. As an expert in educational measurement, research and evaluation Ann is an astute advocate for evidence-based solutions to global issues, as well as adopting the use of robust metrics to monitor strategic priorities and quality implementation of agreed-upon solutions. Ann has high-level expertise in solution-based implementation science backed by utilisation-focused monitoring & evaluation processes. She is committed to using her expertise and experiences to generate, translate, and facilitate utilisation of data/evidence to drive decisions and inform strategies, policies and programs designed to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable children, families, and communities.
Ann holds a PhD in Educational Measurement, Research & Evaluation (EMRE) with a special focus in Measurement and Statistical Methods for Behavioural Science research. She also holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in education specialising in mathematics. Coming from a teaching background, Ann thrives in training, mentoring, and couching as a proven pathway to build and retain technical capacity within an organization/institution or business. She is a tactful multilingual communicator and has proven experience in networking and external representation of organisations both at global and local forums.
As a mother of two young ladies, Ann is also passionate about empowering women and girls to use their God given talents and gifting to fulfil their divine purpose and calling. She is a firm believer that when you follow your calling, you don’t strive, you thrive. Her daily life’s mantra is that “the JOY of living comes from a HEART of THANKSGIVING.
