Mountain Climbers' Accomplishments So Far in Summary

By the grace of God, we can identify ourselves as women who love to stand in the gap through prayer.

For the past 17 years we have not only been involved in praying for our families in Kenya, but we have also followed our faith with action by participating in initiatives as per points below.

Corporately, we are diverse in skills, personality, and experience. We are particularly enriched by our range of professional experience including:

Education Support Initiatives

One of our daughters Elise Gitau is the current Miss Teen Australia International 2022.

As the Miss Teen Australia, Elise stated a youth initiative called The Jaliwa Foundation.
The Jaliwa foundation has flourished due to the support of Mountain Climbers and the Kenyan Community Victoria.
The Jaliwa foundation has made the following contribution toward Education:

Donations of book to Mully ‘s Children Family in Kenya (2021)
Established a library at Nyawai Academy (2022)
Working toward establishing mobile community library in Bungoma and Meru in Kenya (2023

Have assisted not just family members to get education but other needy Kenyans
Collectively MC members are currently supporting over 50 young persons to access high school and college education
Kare foundation which is part of the MC membership is not only educating the youth but is also providing counselling and Christian outreach in those schools where the young persons are

There is also the support of teenage mothers to go back to school by providing the material and emotional support they need
Through the training initiatives, young people are also being taught employability skills to make them employable. It is also our hope that in future, through the programs on the ground, that skills creation infrastructure will be built and be utilised
