Loice Testimony

I joined Mountain climbers right at the beginning about 17 + years ago. From initiation our heart was to pray for our families, which means our immediate members, our extended families, our friends and communities that we live in.

I am not a person who sticks around very long, obviously this is not something to be proud of, but this has been my style, which I am working on. During these 17 years plus, I have been a member of very many churches, yet the only thing that has been constant in my spiritual walk has been mountain Climbers.

I have gone to church and other times stayed home, but Mountain Climbers has always been the place to call home.

This group of ladies have been with me in my highs and lows. In the very many audits I have asked for prayers, prayed for my kids high school school and University exams, prayed for my siblings and their kids , prayed for parents ,we have literally been everywhere together.

During my worst time in life, Mountain Climbers ladies held me up. We lost our Daugter in June 2020 after a very short illness and the shock of it was unimaginable… I could not breath or literally do anything… but in the midst of it , I felt like there was a supernatural force that kept me afloat and I knew it was the love of these ladies. They checked on us in the morning, mid morning, lunch time, evening and night and despite the fact that I failed to pick their calls often, they still persisted on calling again and again. We were in the midst of COVID lockdowns here in Melbourne and they could not visit, but that was not a deterrent for them. They kept on praying and loving us, until we could slowly get on our feet. This was the only group I felt I could return to with open arms.

Members of this group received some very important prophetic words for us during that dark season and I am grateful  they were willing to share the heart of the Father with us. One lady got a message for us from God telling us… Your daughter is well with me… another heard my daughter call her three times one morning saying… auntie , auntie.. tell mum not to cry, I am okay… yet another was told… Kare has arrived safely!! Such words are worth gold to our hearts and we treasure them.

Thank you ladies for being so loving and for being Jesus to us in those dark moments of life. We are eternally grateful for who you are and for being faithful to the call of Christ to keep praying without ceasing.

Times have been hard, but prayer has sustained us together. Other times have been good and we have laughed together.

The cause of a Christ has kept us going this long. Glory to His Holy Name!!!!!
